The purpose of this book is to look for meaning in the acts of Christ and how they apply to my life. I have peered deeply into each thing Christ did, as recorded in the scriptures, to find the message the Gospel writers intended for me to receive. And then I have related how those messages have affected my life.

I don’t claim these are doctrine. I’m certainly not writing scripture. They are thoughts about the scriptures. But I believe the Gospels are not random ramblings and accidental flashes of memoir about the Savior. The authors, inspired by the Holy Ghost, carefully and purposefully crafted their narratives to deliver insights that go beyond the mere meaning of the words.

I wanted to come unto Him and follow Him. I could do that not only by listening to what He said, but by watching what He did, and learning to do the same in my own way, in my own life.
